CUSTOMER COMMENTS:
(in response to training evaluation form for Janet Bennet)
Q: Was the class everything you had hoped for?
A: Yes! I came from a different class using the clicker method and was very dissapointed. I was tired of having to have food constantly on hand. I've already recommended it to a friend who is registering for a January class.

"I wanted to take
Oscar to training just to fulfill the prerequisite for
Agility. After all he knew sit, down and was pretty
good at stay..or so I thought! I learned a wealth of
knowledge in how to handle my dog in different situations.
I really recommend that people take this basic class,
even if they think their dogs know the basics. It is
a class that fills in the gaps and really gives you
and your dog a strong foundation."

"The most helpful
thing I learned from the basic class is, techniques
for training and advice on everyday situations. CoCoa
was 5 mths. old when we began this training class. She
has progressed well, even though we had to miss 2 classes.
She is calmer around other people and other dogs. She
never forgets the training. The trainer gives easy to follow
directions and straight forward advice. This honest
approach gives you ways to train and work with your
dog on training skills, as well as, advice that is helpful
for first time dog owners."

"What I didn't realize
is how much I would learn from our trainer Barbi. I
have trained dogs, horses on and off most of my life.
I learned how from my mother who loved animals as much
as me. What I didn't know was how to train without force.
Taking this class was new and very helpful to my training.
In fact, this was a whole new concept for me. A concept
of training that is very effective. I believe it was
worth every cent is cost."

"When the class
first began "Koah" would not listen and was
very dominant. As the class progressed Koah learned
to listen and remain obedient when in social situations."

"Before training
class I avoided taking "Guinness" for regular
walks to our community pier for a swim. He was completely
uncontrolled, pulling constantly. Through training I
have learned how to manage basic controls over the dog
and now am able to walk him nightly. This training has
definately been worthwhile. We are now able to enjoy
Guinness as we use to when he was a puppy. Thank you
very much!"

"The most helpful
thing I learned from this program was Heeling and ways
to stop [my dog] from biting and jumping."

I have a large shelter
dog who at 5 months needed training. I took him to Barbi
who worked with him for four Board and Train lessons.
When I picked him up on the last day of training, he
was a changed dog. He would come when I called him and
would sit and lay down on command. All of this I was
not able to make him do on my own. He was an abused
dog, afraid of everyone and very nervous. After being
with Barbi for about 30 minutes at our Consultation
visit, he was loving her and kissing her.
I would Highly recommend
Barbi to train your dog and solve any problems you are
having.
