Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort is a full-service
pet facility in Millersville, Maryland, just 8 miles south
of Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Our resort
features climate-controlled indoor/outdoor runs and/or kennels
for dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, rodents, guinea pigs, etc.
We specialize in veterinary services, boarding, grooming, doggie daycare, training,
do-it-yourself dog wash, and all-natural pet supplies, supplements
and foods. We have several large outside play areas for exercise,
fresh air, and sunshine.
Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort was founded by Mark Boback, President of Boback Inc. in 1996 and opened it's doors to the public in 1998. Boback Inc. obtained the lot where an old Howard Johnson's restaurant existed. The building was vacant for quite some time before Noah's Ark moved in. Mark actually did a lot of the much needed restoration and renovation along with minimal hired help due to limited finances. There was less than a handfull of staff including Master Groomer Eileen Adams who remains with the company til' this day. Janice O'neil was hired shortly after as a groomer. She had left the company for a business partnership opportunity, but shortly returned to Noah's as a General Manager. Rico joined the team as a Receptionist, but revealed his skill in general fix/repair, customer service and hotel management experience, thus earning the nickname title of "F.R.I.C.K.E.N." manager (Fix, Repair, Internet, Computers, Kennels, Equipment, Networking). As the business continued to grow, Lori hopped on the boat....Ark that is, and is our Administrative manager who promotes inter-departmental communication and training. Working along with supervisors Meranda, McKenzie, Alleen and the rest of the 40+ team members, the Noah's Ark Family continues to look forward to caring for all pets that pass thru our doors.

The mission of our business is to fulfill the needs of our customers by providing quality pet care services through a responsive professional staff with the emphasis on individual attention and commitment to our customers, their pets and our community. We will never be the reason any pet does not have the opportunity for the best care offered in this field of business.
We also have an open door policy
for you to come in and inspect our facility whenever you wish
to see where your pet will be staying and to meet some of
our staff. We now employ over 50 people and are still growing
thanks to our satisfied customers.
