Janet has worked with dogs for the last 30 years, starting out with her family dogs, teaching tricks. "My first dog was a sheltie mix my dad found. I wanted her to be a "Lassie". She helped train family and friends' pets and became a certified trainer in 1987. She has worked with different rescue groups such as:
*Anne Arundel Animal Control
*G.S.D. Rescue of Maryland -Foster dogs
*Mid-Atlantic G.S.D. Rescue -Foster dogs
*All Breed Rescue in Bowie -Foster gogs
Janet also showed and titled in A.K.C. Obedience. She has conducted a seminar for Anne Arundel Community College regarding dog behavior and was involved with the commercial advertising the book "Free Stuff for Pet Lovers" by writer Matthew Lasko (the guy with the ? jacket). She enjoys visiting schools in Glen Burnie, conducting seminars about dog behaviors. She enjoys putting on obedience shows for the community and various associations in her area. She is a member of the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors and is a Certified A.K.C., C.G.C. Evaluator.
Janet believes in positive reinforcement with out the use of food. However, she says "All dogs are different so training has to cater to each individual". She is excited to head up our team of professional trainers who offers different techniques and approaches to help teach "you" to be the pack leader and earn your pups love, respect, and obedience. Janet states "Our goal is to ensure that your pet is your companion and not just your dog!"
