Denise has over 9 years of classroom and private training experience. Currently holding both CGC's and AKC Obedience titles. She has participated in providing seminars and demonstrations on obedience, agility, and behavior at local K-9 events. She has also participated as a dog handler in the commercial advertising the book "Free Stuff for Pet Lovers" by writer Matthew Lasko.
Denise specializes in dogs that have anxiety, shyness, fear and EARLY aggressive behavior. She works with all breeds, but since owning and breeding GSD's, she has a large connection of GSD owners and success stories. Although she trains by positive reinforcement, there are occassions when other training tools and techniques are necessary.
"I was raised with a multitude of animals, from hamsters to horses and I am a firm believer that proper training is the key to create a win-win Human-K9 relationship. It creates a respectful bond that will keep your happy K9 "at home". I believe that a large amount of the homelss K9 population is due to the lack of training (both owner and pet)."
Denise's main goal is to help you create that crucial relationship between pet and owner and in turn make a difference on the abandoned pet numbers nation wide.
