PUPPY WORKSHOP/2 HOURS

$30.00

This two hour workshop is a great way to get your puppy on the right track!  Teaches basic rules for a polite puppy behavior.  Great prerequisite for a "Fast Track Basic" course.

TOPICS COVERED:

FAST TRACK BASIC OBEDIENCE/4 WEEKS

This class is for people who just need mild basics or a refresher on how to accomplish basic skills.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

EXTENDED BASIC OBEDIENCE/7 WEEKS

This is the beginning of formal obedience training and problem solving.  This is a 7 week course (one day per week) for dogs 12 weeks and older (12 week old puppy should have proof of vaccinations for bordetella and distemper before attending and proof of rabies by the 4th week of class).  Training is done on lead.  dogs with aggression should be evaluated prior to class enrollment.

BASIC CGC/6 WEEKS

Prerequisite Requirments:  Puppy Workshop and Fast Track Basic or Extended Basic Obedience.  This class works on the 10 skill sets listed to pass the Canine Good Citizenship test.

INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE/6 WEEKS

All learned commands in extended or fast track basic obedience are reinforced.  This is a six weeks course for dogs that have completed basic obedience at Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort and/or have been evaluated by a NAVBR Training Instructor by passing an entry level test.  Progress is made with obedience commands by adding distance and duration.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

ADVANCED OBEDIENCE/6 WEEKS

Advanced classes are offered intermittently based on demand.  This is a six week course for dogs that have completed basic or intermediate obedience at Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort or have been evaluated by a NAVBR Training Instructor by passing an entry level test.  The objective of this class is minimal need for the leash.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

BOARD AND TRAIN

$45.00 per day

These sessions are to be held while your pet is staying with Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort.  We meet with the owner before or upon boarding for a pet evaluation.  This arrangement is scheduled between the selected trainer(s) and the pet owner.  The training fees are added to the boarding invoice and can be paid upon checking out for boarding.  There is a minimum requirement of 4 sessions (4 days of boarding). For dayboard and train: 4 days and training fees are paid prior to the first dayboard.  The trainer will provide a follow up consultation phone call within 24 hours after pet has checked out from boarding.  There is no charge for this follow up, however continued physical follow up training is available for an additional cost.

DOG TRAINING REFUND POLICY: ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE, IN ADVANCE, TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT IN THE CLASS. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER THE FIRST CLASS DATE.

DOG TRAINING CANCELLATIONS: IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ENROLLMENT IN THE GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS DATE, THE CLASS FEE WILL BE REFUNDED.

DOG TRAINING NO SHOWS: ANY CLIENT THAT RESERVES A PLACE IN A TRAINING PROGRAM WHO FAILS TO ATTEND THE CLASSES WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE TRAINER 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF THE FIRST CLASS DATE, WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL COURSE FEE. IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND, PLEASE CALL 24 HOURS AHEAD OF TIME TO NOAH'S ARK VETERINARY AND BOARDING RESORT (410-969-0100).
