BASIC OBEDIENCE I

This is the beginning of formal obedience training and problem solving.  This is a 6 week course (one day per week) for dogs 12 weeks and older (12 week old puppy should have proff of vaccinations for bordetella and distemper before attending and proof of rabies by the 4th week of class).  Dogs attend the first day of class.  Training is done on lead and some distraction training is introduced.  No aggressive dogs.  Shot records required for first day of class as proof of vaccinations.  We offer both food/praise motivated training (Barbi), as well as voice/praise motivated training (Denise).

BASIC OBEDIENCE II

All learned commands in basic I are reinforced with emphasis on voice and hand signals.  This is a 6 week course for dogs that have completed Basic Obedience I at Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort or have been evaluated by a NAVBR Training Instructor.  Shot records required for first day of class as proof of vaccinations.  Progress is made with obedience commands by adding distance and duration.  Some "off lead" work is introduced.

PRIVATE ONE ON ONE LESSONS

Open to all dogs that are non-aggressive.  The trainer may accept a consultation for an aggressive dog to determine possibility for continued training.  Reservation me be confirmed by the instructor to arrange the type of training.  Training is done at the Noah's Ark training facility.  Shot records required as proof of vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella).

BOARD AND TRAIN

These sessions are to be held while your pet is staying with Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort.  We meet with the owner before or upon boarding for a pet evaluation.  This arrangement is scheduled between the selected trainer(s) and the pet owner.  The training fees are added to the boarding invoice and can be paid upon checking out for boarding.  There is a minimum requirement of 4 sessions (4 days of boarding).  The trainer will provide a follow up consultation phone call within 24 hours after pet has checked out from boarding.  There is no charge for this follow up, however continued physical follow up training is available for an additional cost.

DOG TRAINING REFUND POLICY (READ CAREFULLY): ALL FEES ARE PAYABLE, IN ADVANCE, TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT IN THE CLASS. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS AFTER THE FIRST CLASS DATE.

DOG TRAINING CANCELLATIONS: IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ENROLLMENT IN THE GROUP TRAINING PROGRAM BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS DATE, THE CLASS FEE WILL BE REFUNDED.

DOG TRAINING NO SHOWS: ANY CLIENT THAT RESERVES A PLACE IN A TRAINING PROGRAM WHO FAILS TO ATTEND THE CLASSES WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE TRAINER 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF THE FIRST CLASS DATE, WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL COURSE FEE. IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND, PLEASE CALL 24 HOURS AHEAD OF TIME TO NOAH'S ARK VETERINARY AND BOARDING RESORT (410-969-0100).
